The Designer Behind the Notes - Mariya Diomova

For Mariya, design and music have always been intertwined. Mariya grew up surrounded by music. As the daughter of a renowned music composer, her childhood was filled with piano, rehearsals, and the sound of a melody taking shape. She learned to play the piano at a young age, and music became part of her everyday life. That background naturally influenced her creative direction. For Mariya, designing a collection feels similar to composing a piece of music - balancing structure and emotion, softness and strength. MELODY is a reflection of her world, where sound and design come together.

The Idea

In music, a composition is built from separate notes, movements, and tonal shifts. Each element stands on its own - yet only together do they form something meaningful. MELODY follows the same principle. Every gown is named after a musical term. Each design carries its own tone, its own mood, its own moment. Some silhouettes are structured and architectural - like a strong opening note. Others are soft and flowing - like a quiet refrain. Different notes. One melody.
